Shakib Khan’s Eid film ‘Toofan’ has created a storm in theatres across the country since its release. The film has elevated Bengali cinema several steps higher, breaking one record after another. Even after 10 days of its release, ‘Toofan’ continues to perform strongly at the box office.

Meanwhile, ‘Toofan’ has also sparked significant interest internationally. Following its domestic success, the film is poised to set records abroad. ‘Toofan’ has already received a positive response in Australia, with more than 2,000 tickets sold in advance, 10 days before its release. Additionally, audiences in 13 other countries are eagerly anticipating the film.
In a social media post on Thursday, director Raihan Rafi announced that ‘Toofan’ will be released simultaneously in 14 countries across four continents starting June 28. The countries where ‘Toofan’ has been released include the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Belgium, Sweden, Spain, France, Portugal, Netherlands, Oman, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Bahrain. The film will be shown in over 100 renowned theatres in these countries.
The movie ‘Toofan’ is based on the story of a gangster, reflecting the image of the nineties. It follows the life of a famous gangster from that era.
Shakib Khan plays a dual role in Raihan Rafi’s ‘Toofan’. The film also stars Mimi Chakraborty from India and Nabila from Bangladesh alongside the hero. Other notable cast members include Chanchal Chowdhury, Fazlur Rahman Babu, Gazi Rakayet, Salahuddin Lovelu, and Gausul Alam Shawon.
